I completely disagree with you guys here. This movie was beautiful. One of the most creative movie of the year, well, at least visually. The story, it was pretty generic, but the actors were right on cue and there were plenty of good character moments. Holding del Toro's movies to Pan's Labyrinth is setting a pretty high standard. I liked this way better than The Incredible Hulk and I think l liked this as much as Iron Man.

I wholeheartedly agree! loved the look of the characters, set design, costumes...all fantastic. God the story-or lack there of-killed me. I'm not familiar with the comic at all so I'm coming into this cold but I just don't understand the point of this 'secret' team of super beings if all they do is shoot guns for the most part. I just hate seeing all that wonderful detailing fall flat due to cookie cutter dialogue and storyline. Sigh, wasn't a fan of the first, gave this a chance and not too sure I'm happy I did. I'm siding with JD on this one.
