I have not seen There will be blood and with it being your #1 I guess I will have to go see it. I just rented American Gangster last weekend and I really enjoyed it. It was one of the better movies I've seen lately and I agree Crowe was lucky this year with Gangster and 3:10 to Yuma(on my top 3 for the year)the only thing I did not like about 3:10 was the ending I would of like to of seen the remake follow the origial ending but it was really a great remake. Like most of the movies on the list. I like some of the runner-up mentions. I still gotta see that Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. I have yet to see The Savages(love Hoffman and Linney) or Lars and the Real Girl, but heard good things. Nice There Will Be Blood also on the top spot. Damn this must be one hell of a movie. I think its the only movie that could top No Country for Old Men for me at this point. Sadly while the movie is being hailed by critics it just doesn't seem to be getting the attention it should. Daniel Day-Lewis performance looks incredible. Well I'll have to wait to see some of these movies on dvd, but I'm going to see There Will Be Blood eventually in theaters. Pretty good list.
