Jay, you are absolutely correct. "True" was by Spandau Ballet and I am forever shamed for making such an embarrassing and totally elementary 80's pop music mistake. Forgive me, and thanks for the correction.

Most of these movies are awful -- though your top three are OK.

You need to see some older movies, like SWINGTIME or BRINGING UP BABY.

YOU'VE GOT MAIL? Really? I mean -- Really?

Wow! What an interesting assortment! Am a fan of several of those listed.
I'd like to add Philadelphia Story and Charade (ok, I doubt that that is a romantic 'comedy' but it is romantic and who doesn't love Audrey?) to the classics list.

A few other additions:
Strictly Ballroom
Sliding Doors
About A Boy
Love Actually

And yes, I'm going to say it so hold the groans ...Bridget Jones's Diary and French Kiss.

What can I say? I'm a chick and I likes the chick flick on occasion.

Wow. J.D., outside your top three, I gotta say this list is, um, subpar. I'm especially riled about the inclusion of Forget Paris, a movie I tried my best to forget as soon as it was over. Though I must admit a special place in my heart for Joe vs the Volcano. Permit me a rebuttal list:

10)Coming to America
9) Sixteen Candles
8) The Princess Bride
7) High Fidelity
6) Groundhog Day
5) When Harry Met Sally
4) Harold and Maude
3) Amélie
2) Say Anything...
1) Annie Hall
