Really? We're Ranking Deaths and their Worth Now?
Never mind the question of morals and impudent commentary, its also simply impossible to answer....

1) How can death ever be "untimely"? It would suggest that there are other possible times of which we could go.

There is only one time you die. And that should be respected because it s well beyond our discernment.

2) And if we can't possibly know or even truthfully guess what lie in our future, we certainly can't do the same for anyone else.

Even the famous.

Any one you list potentially could bust in their very next project and sank to the bottom from there. To say this is just as valid as assuming their greatness if they were alive.

Its true, as is now proven, that to be famous is one thing but to live forever you must die first. It s a sick part of our culture to immerse ourselves in this kind of dribble. I remember Wes Bentley saying in hi s statement about Heath Ledger this would happen.

Good list. The only one I'd add is a personal favorite from Mike Leigh's "Career Girls," Katrin Cartlidge.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001020/

Her death was much more of a shock than say, John Candy.

Really good idea for a list. Really does make you wonder what these people would have been involved in if they hadn't died.
