Coming after the recent Avengers: Infinity War, where the fate of literally half of the entire universe was at stake, the micro stakes (literally and figuratively) of this film are refreshing.

Rudd is his usual likable self, and he’s perfect for a role that requires a lot of exasperation. He’s an everyman that’s easy to root for from the get-go, and his droll sense of humor allows him to comment on the stranger goings-on with the appropriate amount of “WTF?”

The film tells us that “Love always comes with a price,” and because I love film, sometimes that price is watching a really bad movie.
