Capsule Review: "The Others"

This is a very well done old-fashioned ghost story, and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Nicole Kidman is very convincing, and I thought I had the story figured out a couple of times, but it kept throwing me off the trail. Without ruining it for you, I’ll tell you this much….While the ending is no jaw-dropping realization, it does make me reconsider the film in an entirely different way. It’s a bit slow, but it’s extremely creepy, and all these questions are raised that keep you guessing. I want to see it again, and I’d recommend it for almost anybody.
