Capsule Review: "Scary Movie"

Did the Farrelly brothers issue a challenge to Keenan Ivory Wayans? They must have, because not only does “Scary Movie” have more disgusting toilet humor than “Me, Myself & Irene,” but it’s also more consistently hilarious. I also never thought I would see somebody top the Farrelly brothers full onscreen ‘penis joke’ count. How about tripling it? Ugh. This movie surprised me in almost every way. It reached a new comedy low in gross-out humor, yet it also had the highest ratio of laughs I’ve seen in a long time. That, coupled with a odd, comedically adept cast and some very obscure references, make this the funniest movie I’ve seen in awhile.
