Capsule Review: "Me, Myself and Irene"

The Farrelly Brothers set a new standard for toilet humor with “There’s Something About Mary.” Believe it or not, that movie also had a little heart and semi-believeable characters. “Irene” has none of either. Renee Zellweger stays with Jim Carrey’s character for no other obvious reason than to set up the next joke. The plot makes no sense and there are a million holes in it. This is not a good movie. But I laughed my ass off. There were enough huge and outrageous laughs to make me very silly. I know I should have better taste, but remember that scene where he went to the bathroom and…..tee hee!
