Wow! Real characters in interesting situations! I’m so glad I got a chance to see a good movie on the road this time out. This low budget indie makes up for its scarce production values in original, disturbing ideas. The story totally sucks you in, and then constantly tempts you with possibilities. The Weitz brothers, who directed the overrated teen sex comedy “American Pie” last year, play two of the major parts, but don’t let that scare you away. “Chuck & Buck” is a quirky little drama with some odd truths, and I guarantee it will have you talking about it later.
