This week, Alan Rapp subs for Trey to talk about After Earth with Trevan and Now You See Me with Eric. The boys also talk about their favorite things for the week, which include the latest season of Psych, the semi-triumphant return of Arrested Development and U.S. Air Guitar. We’ll let you guess who belongs to that last one.

How many Raspberry Awards will After Earth win?

Ha ha! I think it is a front runner, hopefully along with Gangster Squad…

Good podcast! However, I felt you guys were a little easy on After Earth. I thought it was so ordinary, it was offensive. At least M. Night’s other movies, while absurd, presented new ideas. I agree with Trevan completely about the film lacking any sense of danger or suspense.
As time goes on, I think I’m finding myself a little less forgiving with Now You See Me. While it was entertaining (at the beginning mostly due to the four main magicians), the film gets more and more outlandishly silly. The fear that it won’t hold up on second viewing is what my first viewing was like.

Ha ha! Well now I’m almost curious enough to SEE it!
