The Scene-Stealers Movie Podcast 79: ‘Amour,’ ‘Side Effects,’ ‘Identity Thief’

by Trevan McGee on February 8, 2013

Trevan and Eric work through Amour, Side Effects, Identity Thief and Warm Bodies while Trey sweats it out boating in some tropical paradise. Amour is the must-see film on this list, for sure, but Side Effects and Warm Bodies both deserve your attention. The same can’t be said for Identity Thief, which should only be seen if you’ve disagreed with everything Trevan has ever written and said.

I had to laugh during this because you were fumbling around with the names and still ended up with “A Simple Man” instead of ” A Serious Man”. Also I can’t believe you sat through Les Mis a second time Trevan, I don’t think I could stomach it.

…and what we were looking for, of course, was “A Single Man,” the wonderful Tom Ford film. Ha! I don’t even know what “A Simple Man” is. Perhaps I was thinking of Sam Raimi’s underrated “A Simple Plan”?
