"Monsters Vs. Aliens" 3D IMAX advance tix for KC!

in Giveaways

I saw about 8 minutes of “Monsters vs. Aliens” last year at the Siggraph Computer Animation Festival and was impressed. Like “Coraline,” the film was produced using 3D technology, and we have free advance passes to see it in 3D and IMAX! How cool is that? We have 50 ‘admit-two’ passes to give away for the Kansas City screening of “Monsters vs. Aliens” on Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 pm at the AMC Barrywoods 24 (8101 Roanridge Rd.). On Thursday, March 12, we will draw 50 winners at random to win the tickets and the passes will be mailed then.

Dreamworks’ upcoming animated feature “Monsters vs Aliens” features the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Rainn Wilson, Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, Stephen Colbert, Paul Rudd, Jimmy Kimmel, and is the studio’s first movie produced using stereoscopic 3D technology. Directed by Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon, the movie is slated for a March 27, 2009 release.

Good luck!

Yes, thank you. I have yet to see anything in tru3D. I studied 3d animation in school had never been too fond with the Shrek series but Kung Fu Panda turned me around for Dreamworks, I have good hopes for this one.

Hope to see you there!
