Eric and J.D. on VH1’s World Series of Pop Culture in July!

You may have seen the commercials that are running now on VH1 and thought to yourself– those are the jerks that hated “300”– what are they doing on TV? We’ve received lots of email asking for clarification, but the cat’s out of the bag– Eric and J.D. will be appearing as contestants on the ultimate music/movies/TV trivia game show, Entertainment Weekly and VH1’s “2007 World Series of Pop Culture”!
Here’s the commercial that’s been running on VH1:

Along with our friend and trivia master Andy Morton, we are known on the show as the men of Westerburg High (”Heathers,” Replacements ref.). The show premieres Monday July 9 at 8ct/9et, and our first episode is Wed. July 11– we’ll be going up against fifteen other teams from all over the U.S. for $250,000 and bragging rights to the trophy that says “I know the most amount of useless knowledge in the country!”
