Well, we finally did it.
It’s been almost two years now that Scene-Stealers.com has been up and running and we’ve learned so much in the process! I want to thank everyone who has worked on the site or still does for all the hard work you’ve put into keeping it going.
Our producer/editor extraordinaire Dustin Schirer gets top billing for his many efforts to expand the Scene-Stealers audience and for his many late nights sitting in front of a computer monitor, bleary-eyed and sleepless. The whole Transmuto family deserves a hearty round of applause– Stuart, Jae, and Aaron made this whole site possible, and deserve thanks again for getting the re-design together so quickly and bloodlessly. That was also in no small part due to the dilligence of newcomer Philip, who worked his ass off, despite being right in the middle of a big move as well! Anyway, you guys are the best.
And huge thanks to my good friend J.D. Warnock, who let me con him into this project so long ago. Who knew that our little local access cable TV show would flourish and become what it is now?
The new site looks better and is way easier to get around on. We have a new blog feature where J.D. and I will be able to rant, rave, complain, or offer perspective on just about anything. Hopefully, the front page better explains all the things the Scene-Stealers.com has to offer. Even though the site is already up, we will continue to add new features to the redesign. Interactivity is something we’ve been striving for recently, and coming soon– you’ll be able to post your comments on our blogs as well.
We’ll likely experience some growing pains, but it’s all part of the process. I want to thank all the regular viewers of this page and promise you more of the unique Scene-Stealers perspective and personality that you’ve come to expect from two people who love the movies just as much as you do.
You all get rock fists way up. (Cheesy, I know, but heartfelt.)
much love,
Eric
