Sure, it may be a thinly-disguised wine commercial, but this new Martin Scorsese short has more than enough inside-film jokes to justify the short 9-minute running time (plus a bonus cameo by his longtime editor Thelma Schoonmaker). Count the references to Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, Rear Window, North by Northwest, and The Birds! It’s also pretty funny to see him do the Rob Reiner/Christopher Guest thing.
