Ugh! You’re killing me. I want to pick Scorsese just because everything about Hugo was amazingly beautiful, well-done and utilized 3D the best. I haven’t seen The Artist so I don’t know what merits to base it on…. And Scorsese just won recently for The Departed which kinda puts him at the disadvantage. Gut is telling me to go with Scorsese. Torn.
Don’t you remember the first video? NEVER vote with your heart, always vote safe. Scorsese’s film is far superior, but ‘The Artist’ is the consensus vote. Michel’s already won the DGA, which is the best harbinger of the Oscars, and Hollywood will reward the Frenchman for filming a movie about Hollywood in Hollywood!
Ah, yeah right. Should vote for who WILL win not who SHOULD win. Got me convinced, overlooked that he got the DGA already. Crap. I guess I’m pissed that the Academy doesn’t award the best. Maybe I should just give up on how amazingly Hugo was produced. Oh well.
